At Lakeshore Medical Transport, we maintain a strict policy against the use of alcohol and drugs by our employees. Any possession, consumption, or intoxication from alcohol or illegal substances is strictly prohibited. The use of, or being under the influence of, illegal drugs and/or alcohol is inconsistent with the professional conduct expected of our staff. Such behavior poses unacceptable safety risks to our employees and clients and compromises our ability to operate safely, effectively, and efficiently.

The use, possession, distribution, or sale of controlled substances, including drugs and alcohol, is strictly prohibited while working for Lakeshore Medical Transport or operating our vehicles. Employees are also prohibited from being under the influence of controlled substances or testing positive for alcohol or any drug, including inactive components or metabolites associated with the use of such drugs, while on duty.

Our company enforces a robust drug and alcohol testing program, which includes random testing and testing following any work-related accident. Should an accident occur, employees may be required to undergo an immediate drug and alcohol test.
